What does freedom actually feel like in the body?
I think about this a lot. The most successful people I have worked with often feel the least free.
Somewhere between the deadlines, the roles and the pace, that quieter part of themselves got buried under everything else.
Ten years of doing this work has taught me one thing I keep coming back to: freedom is not waiting on the other side of a less busy week. Most people I know are still waiting for that week.
It lives somewhere closer. In the body. In a breath that actually reaches the stomach. In a moment where the jaw unclenches and the shoulders drop and nothing is being held, for just a little while.
That is what I want for everyone reading this today. Just a few more moments of actually feeling free inside the one you already have.
Happy Independence Day.
