Underneath the humour, something real is happening.

Delulu is the only solulu.. The phrase is everywhere now, short for delusional is the only solution, and it has become a genuinely funny way for a generation to talk about getting through hard things.

For many young people, delulu has become a way to bypass pain rather than face it.

Pressure, uncertainty, loneliness, disappointment, all of it is REAL, and being a little delusional can feel easier than being honest about how heavy things actually are. It keeps you moving. It keeps you functional.

There is a difference between coping and avoiding.

A little delusion in the short term can protect you but if its the main way you deal with life, it starts working against you.

It gets you through the moment without helping you heal from what caused it.

So when someone says delulu is the only solulu, the real question is not whether it helps them function. It is whether it helps them move forward.

Functioning and healing are NOT the same thing.
